1- Texted & Textless/Clean Master Delivery
AJ360 requires a texted master and a textless/clean master for distribution within AJMN channels and on-sale.
The Texted and Textless/Clean versions must have matching/synchronous time-code. The Textless/Clean version will contain textless elements during the programe (& after if necessary) and will also contain clean audio.
See Technical Requirements: Video
See Technical Requirements: Audio
These can be delivered in two ways (To be agreed with AJ360 Operations staff):
- Mediashuttle – using the links provided upon signing the contract
- Hard-Drive (Minimum requirement:7200rpm with USB 3.0 or Firewire 800)
See: Texted & Textless/Clean file naming in 3.5.1
2- Creative Assets and Promotional Material Delivery
The final editorially approved versions of the creative and promotional materials should be delivered via the provided Mediashuttle link, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. See Creative Files Naming section.
3- Project Files and Rushes Delivery
Project Files must be delivered for any program. Project files must include all used rushes/camera footage, graphics, animations, music and audio tracks, effects and LUTs etc.. We recommend using Project Manager if you’re using any of the Adobe Suites for ease in collecting assets.
Unused rushes might be requested by the production team and shouldn’t be more than 15 minutes. The accompanying logs must be delivered with the rushes.
Log information of rushes will be clearly detailed with dates, names, titles and details of locations. Refer to the template: Shot List Tempate.xlsx
The organization of the assets should follow our approved naming and folder structure. See Project files naming and structure
4- Hard-Drive Delivery and Folder Structure
File-based Programme Project Files and Rushes should be delivered in their originating (camera) format. These will be delivered on a Hard-drive(s) that is a minimum of 7200 rpm and has Firewire 800 or USB 3 capabilities.
The Hard-Drives should be mailed to our Al Jazeera headquarters address. To be provided by the production team.
The organization of the assets should follow our approved naming and folder structure. See: Project files naming and structure in 3.5.4
